The Best Places to See Cherry Blossoms In Vancouver

Vancouverites rejoice as the rainy season comes to an end every year, marked by one citywide event – Cherry Blossom season. There are over 43,000 cherry trees all across Vancouver, gifted to the city by Japan to serve as a memorial for all those who served in World War 1.

Since Japan’s generous gift, the cherry blossoms have spread all over Metro Vancouver. They are truly a sight to see but bring some controversy with increased tourism (both local and foreign), posing environmental damage, trespassing, and other nuisances throughout the season. Learn all about the best spots to see the cherry blossoms and how to see them responsibly in this handy article!
